About our Coffee Shop
We are an independent run Coffee Shop owned and ran by business partners; Lynn and Richard and situated on Bawdon Lodge Farm.
Our customers often visit for a walk, a spot of lunch and a look around our onsite gift shop and the independent retailers; Just Jules Jewellery (both situated inside the coffee shop) & Bumbles Furnishings (based outside opposite the Coffee Shop entrance).
We are very much a Coffee Shop rather than a cafe and our range and service style reflects this.
We have fabulous, locally sourced cakes, Rijo Coffee and the Brew Tea range along with a lunch menu. We source our products and ranges locally and meet regularly with local suppliers as we grow and extend our offering.
Ciabatta sandwiches are freshly made to order and are available in full or half sizes with hot and cold fillings, along with soups, sausage rolls and salad. We also offer a small selection of vegan and gluten free items.

Bookings
We only accpet bookings for customers ordering from the lunch menu.
We no longer accept bookings for tables for Coffee & Cake.
For lunch bookings from 12-1.45pm (2.45pm on Saturdays);
please call 01509 268080 ext 1 during opening times.
Minimum of 24hrs notice is required.
Please note that during busy lunch periods we may not be able to answer the phone so please do leave a message and shall call you back.
Our Maximum Table Size for Lunch Bookings is 8
(subject to availability)
We have 2 x tables which can accommodate 8 people. Once booked; the maximum table size is 6.
We cannot accommodate increases in table sizes without prior confirmation.
Unfortunately our small kitchen area cannot accommodate preparing large table order during busy times.

Afternoon Tea
We no longer offer Afternoon Tea.
Group Bookings
Due to requests; we have started to accept bookings in place of our Afternoon Tea offering.
For groups of 12 or more we can offer a group platter option. This option is available daily after 2pm and must be booked in a minimum of three days in advance with a booking fee.
This has been popular choice for bookings such as social groups and work gatherings.

Dogs are permitted in the Coffee Shop Seating Area only.
Please manage your dogs and exercise them regularly outside.
Any mishaps are required to be cleared up by the owner.
Any damages will be charged to the owner.
Please supervise your dogs at all times, take them outside if they are distressed and respect our business, our team and other customers. Thank you.
Dogs are not permitted in the Gift Shop Area
Unfortunately due to some irresponsible owners we have taken the decision to no longer allow dogs within the Gift Shop Area.
The barn is heated and is large, airy and tables are well spaced out.
The Gift & Coffee Shop is open throughout our daytime events.
