So the countdown is on to the Bawdon Lodge Farm & Sami Tipi Open Day… and if you’re lucky enough to have a ticket, well, you are in for a treat!
I can’t tell you how helpful this event is! You could just find the venue or supplier to help make your dream wedding day come true like we did when we visited on the first open day at the farm three years ago now… we happened to come across the event which had been shared by friends on Facebook and I'm so glad we travelled to visit the farm, which, little did we know, would become the place where we became Mr and Mrs Brown 18 month later!
There is nothing like actually seeing the tipis set up in all their glory with the amazing styled interior by the teams showcasing at the event to the suppliers showing their handcrafted goodies such as wedding cakes and stationary. I’m not lying when I say this is like a really life Pinterest board full of inspiration; you really could find all your suppliers under one roof!
As soon as we walked in to the tipis we immediately fell in love, it just felt right. Grins from ear to ear and excited butterflies in our bellies and so we enquired with Lynn and Richard for the availability of the date we wanted and of course Jodie and Craig from Sami Tipi and well, the rest is history for us!
I will be there on there day so if you've been reading these blogs and fancy a good old wedding chin wag over a cuppa then make sure you say hi… i’ll be the one with the mobile stuck to her hand as I go live on Facebook to show the social media world what they are missing out on! I will have a base near to the Hot Choc Bar and the Burleigh’s Gin Retail Stand in the Pop Up Shop. Yes hot chocolate, gin and shopping all in one place!!!
Of course I will be blogging about the day too so expect lots of pictures and posts showcasing the suppliers, the products and of course most importantly the people who make it all happen behind the scenes - the Bawdon Lodge Farm Team Aka Lynn, Richard and #teambawdon.
I cannot express how professional yet friendly these people are and I'm proud to be working alongside them to share my experience and advice about wedding planning and my, sorry our (you would think I would have stopped that by now!) wedding but also hopefully inspiring and helping you lovely lot to know what the team and local suppliers have to offer.
So if you are one of the lucky ones with a ticket, see you Sunday and if you didn't get ticket this time make sure you follow the Facebook page so you don't miss out on the next one and the updates over this weekend...
