For Earth Day 2022, our family woodland session will have opportunities for children to create items they can use to benefit wildlife in their garden or local environment as well as nature based play activities with an Earth Day flavour.

Great activity for Children over one years of age. 

Physical play

•  Logs and planks (loose parts)

•  Low ropes

•  Climbing tree

To Benefit the Earth

•  Make wild flower seed bombs

•  Make bird feeders

•  Plant something – eg primroses, celandines, British bluebells – in the woods or to take home

Mud Play - Make Earth day cakes

Book Nook - With hammock and/ or tarp den

Earth Kitchen - Water play with natural materials

PLEASE NOTE ADULTS MUST SUPERVISE THEIR CHILD/CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES THROUGHOUT THIS EVENT. THIS IS AN OUTDOOR EVENT AND APPROPRIATE CLOTHING IS RECOMMENDED.
